S&A has extensive experience in both domestic and international commercial arbitration matters, having represented its clients in several institutional arbitrations (such as, American Arbitration Association, International Court of Arbitration, National Arbitration and Mediation, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, among others) as well as ad-hoc arbitrations. Our attorneys have rich and wide-ranging experience in dealing with a variety of issues before arbitral tribunals, including contractual disputes, shareholder disputes (direct and derivative), corporate dissolution, securities law (investment advisor, broker-dealer, and Reg-BI related matters), employment, and construction arbitration. We regularly counsel and assist our clients on necessary pre-arbitration strategy, starting from non-adversarial settlement negotiations and mediation to litigating issues of arbitrability and motions to stay or compel arbitration before State and Federal courts. At the core of our practice, we believe in aligning our advocacy strategy with the broader commercial interests of our clients with a significant emphasis on their time sensitivities.
